what makes our camps different

THIS IS NOT A LARGE, CHAOTIC CAMP.

Our Dance & Art Camp is intentionally small and structured, allowing each child to be seen, supported, and encouraged. It is designed as a creative journey, not a random collection of activities.

Children spend their days:

– Exploring movement and dance in a playful, age-appropriate way
– Creating art projects connected to weekly themes
– Building coordination, rhythm, and body awareness
– Learning to express themselves with confidence
– Enjoying a balanced day with movement, calm moments, and creative play

Every day blends modern, hip hop, and jazz dance with performance skills like presence, focus, and expression, alongside creative art projects and movement based games. The day is thoughtfully paced to balance active exploration with calmer moments, giving children space to move, create, and recharge while staying engaged and supported throughout the experience.

NO COMPETITIONS.
NO PERFORMANCES.
JUST GROWTH, CREATIVITY, AND HAPPY TIRED KIDS AT PICKUP

a boutique camp experience

OUR DANCE & ART CAMPS ARE INTENTIONALLY DESIGNED AS A BOUTIQUE CAMP.

What does boutique experience mean:

  • Small groups only (10–12 kids per age group)
  • A calm, structured daily rhythm
  • Personal attention for every child
  • An environment where children feel seen, supported, and confident
  • Unlike large camps, children are not lost in the crowd.
  • Teachers truly know each child and guide them through movement, creativity, and social interaction with care and intention.

A RARE BROOKLYN ADVANTAGE: SPACE TO MOVE & BREATHE
One of the things families love most about our camp is our unique access to outdoor space and a playground nearby. A rarity in Brooklyn.

– Private, secluded terrace
Used daily for outdoor games, lunch, fresh air, and movement breaks.
Safe, enclosed, and exclusively for our campers

– Nearby playground (one block away)
When weather allows, we take supervised walks to the playground for active play and social time. Always with clear rules, structure, and age-appropriate supervision
This balance of indoor creativity + outdoor movement is a key part of our boutique camp philosophy.

age groups

Each age group is capped at 10–12 children.

AGES 3–6
A gentle introduction to movement, rhythm, and creative play — perfect for first-time campers and younger children who thrive in smaller groups.

AGES 6–11
More dynamic movement, teamwork, creative challenges, and confidence-building activities — while still maintaining a supportive, non-competitive environment.

2026 SUMMER CAMPS THEMES

July 6-10 | Aug 3-7

SUPERHEROES POWER, MOVEMENT & CONFIDENCE

Core idea: discovering your strengths & working together

This week focuses on bold, energetic movement through hip hop and jazz foundations, including jumps, levels, freezes, and strong shapes. Children explore confidence through powerful poses, clear movement choices, and stage presence. Creative time includes designing hero logos, masks, and comic style artwork, while movement based games support coordination, body awareness, and self confidence in a playful and encouraging setting.

July 13-17 | Aug 10-14

THE GREATEST SHOWMAN: STAGE, RHYTHM & BELONGING

Core idea: everyone has a place on stage

Children explore jazz, modern, and performance dance while developing rhythm, musicality, and fluid movement. The focus is on energy, timing, and dancing with intention. Art projects include posters, costumes, and circus inspired designs, paired with rhythm and coordination activities that support focus and body control. This week is expressive, joyful, and designed to help each child feel confident moving and performing in their own way.

July 20-24 | Aug 17-21

WICKED: MAGIC, FRIENDSHIP & SELF EXPRESSION

Core idea: friendship, individuality, and making choices

This theme centers on expressive modern and jazz storytelling, playing with contrast between soft and strong movement. Children explore character and intention through dance while creating color based worlds, magical symbols, and imaginative objects. Trust based movement activities and creative games encourage focus, connection to movement, and self expression without competition or performance pressure.

July 27-31 | Aug 24-28

K POP DEMON HUNTERS: PRECISION, TEAMWORK & PERFORMANCE

Core idea: confidence, focus, and working together

This high energy week introduces K pop inspired choreography with an emphasis on precision, timing, and clean movement quality. Children work on clarity, control, and stage confidence while creating characters, symbols, and performance inspired visuals. Focus driven movement challenges and games support coordination and attention, making this an exciting and empowering finale week, especially popular with ages six to eleven.

HOW THE WEEKS CONNECT

Our themes are intentionally designed to flow as a journey:

Superheroes → Greatest Showman
(personal power → belonging & performance)

Greatest Showman → Wicked
(belonging → friendship & self-expression)

Wicked → K-Pop Demon Hunters
(expression → precision & teamwork)

Families may choose one week or multiple connected weeks.
